JG Artworks is a family owned mixed media artistic fabrication company headed up by husband and wife team Richard and Teri Jackson. The company started out as Jackson General, Inc. a small custom construction company in northern California. It turned out that designing and building the artistic components of those high end homes was a lot more fun than building the homes themselves. Unlike many artists that work in only one media type such as paints or pottery, we work in virtually all media types. Richard and Teri have spent over 20 years acquiring the knowledge and setting up shop to be able to work proficiently in mixed media including all metal types, all wood species, glass, plastics, pottery, natural and cultured stone, concrete, paints and finishes and .....(well, you get the picture). We don’t fall into any traditional category unless it’s eclectic. We work from our love of nature and try to convey that in our designs. We like to create large scale pieces that are heavy and solid, designed to anchor an area indoors or out. These pieces are to be used and stand the test of time. We have a number of different collections and we’re sure that if you take some time to look at our work, you will find something that speaks to you. We also do custom work, if you haven’t found exactly what you need; we can create it for you to your specification. We have over 7000 square feet of design space and can ship to any location in the world.
